About Me

I will be spending the next ten months in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on a Fulbright grant! I will be working at Walmer High School in a township just outside of PE. My roommate, Alice, and I will be teaching classes to 8th and 9th grade students to strengthen their English literacy, as well as their cultural, economic, health, and emotional literacy to work towards their larger goals. We also plan on organizing after school clubs to help with the university application process as well as the transition into other careers. Stay tuned for more updates from the Eastern Cape!
